Founder and Principal Consultant
As Lodestar founder and principal consultant, Brian works with agency clients in the areas of positioning strategy and operating models. He has designed our core consulting programs, which he customizes and leads for each of our client engagements.
His expertise comes from 20+ years of experience working in the agency and management consulting space. During that time, his focus was on building and scaling digital teams and services across the organizations that he worked for before moving into growth-focused executive and leadership roles in a combination of award-winning full-service, interactive, and brand strategy agencies in Los Angeles and New York.
Observing how the ad industry was changing, Brian saw that the growth strategies and operating models most agencies used were no longer producing the intended results. Brian believes agency leaders need to thoughtfully redesign their businesses if they’re going to achieve long-term success. In 2016, he started Lodestar Agency Consulting to help agencies do exactly that.
In addition to his consulting work, Brian has been a speaker at major industry association events, such as for AMIN Worldwide, TAAN Worldwide, Worldwide Partners, MAGNET Global, and the Bureau of Digital.
Brian is also the Head of Business Strategy for inMotionNow, a leading provider of workflow management solutions for marketing and creative teams. He helped guide the vision, strategy, roadmap, and Agile development of the company’s flagship SaaS product, inMotion ignite, and continues to guide the organization’s overall business strategy.
He is a former Favorite Website Awards (FWA) judge. The FWA is an international team of over 300 judges across 35 countries who vote daily on the most cutting-edge, innovative work in digital design and development: web and mobile sites and apps, physical installations, and VR projects (web-based and non-web based) — any creative work that pushes the boundaries.
